The problem with small bathroom renovation is that people are usually too scared to actually renovate or at least design them as they fear they will end up using too much space and that the accessories used will make the bathroom design feel too crowded. • Small bathroom plans have to start with the proper tiling. White or light colors essentially give the effect that you have a wider space than you have. So stay away from dark hued tiles.
• Instead of having a dresser, have a hanging cabinet where you can stash your towels and your wash cloths. You can use the wall above the toilet as this can really save you some much needed space.
• Mirrors give the illusion that you have a wide space so have a big one to cover a wall’s length but do not have two mirrors facing each other as this may be too much and you’ll end up having a dance studio looking bathroom.
• This design tip is a bit hard to control but make sure that you are using as much natural light as possible. This will really give some energy to the room and give it an open feeling.
